Introduction to Java 4 Youth 12+ - Summer 2019

In Summer 2019, youth will  learn one of the most wildly used programming languages around the world. Big organizations around the world are using Java for meet their information technology needs. These organizations include banks, retailers, insurance companies, utilities, and manufacturers. Furthermore, organizations are  using Java coding in everything. They use Java in building web applications, software tools, scientific applications. In addition, it runs some of the most awesome Android apps. More importantly, Coding with Java-1 course is carefully designed for youth to give them a head start in building a brighter future in school or future profession! We will get you up to speed with the basics, and then you will walk away with some incredible knowledge and a variety of apps to share with your friends, family and to include it in your academic or professional  portfolio.

In this course youth will learn:

  1. Print to screen
  2. Data Type and Variables such as integer, String, Character and Boolean
  3. Logical Operators
  4. Get random Number
  6. User Input and output
  7. If conditions
  8. Loops
  9. Functions

Who can register for Introduction to Coding with Java Summer 2019 Program?

  • This is an introductory level for coding with Java, any youth 12+ can register in this course
  • Any student 12+ with some knowledge in coding can also register in this course

This course will run in summer 2019, each Tuesday and Thursday from 10 to 11:30 am. Take advantage of the early bird registration fee $240 (instead of $270 after May 31, 2019).
