Robotics with Arduino for Youth 12+
Robotics with Arduino for Youth will run once a week every Friday from 6 to 8:00 pm for 8 weeks on-site in Mississauga.
We are increasingly more reliant on virtual assistants like Siri, Alexa, and even self-driving cars. Have you ever wondered how things like this work? How are they wired? How are they programmed? Well, it’s time to get your answers!
Join Robotics with Arduino classes where we start off by teaching the basics of small circuits. As you continue through our courses, you will build your way up to engineering your own hand-built self-driving car, or other robotic projects of your interest!
By joining this course, you will not only understand the logic behind these intelligent engineering systems, but the course will also open your imagination to a whole new world of engineering, programming, and artificial intelligence.
In this course youth will learn:
- Thinking creatively
- Troubleshoot errors and solve logical problems
- Basic electronics
- Basic coding with C
- Build electronic circuits
- Using Lights/LED
- Measuring light – Using a photo-resistor
- Using buttons and switches
- Using LCD display
- Using motors
- Introduction to sensors
